SmartScore certification
SmartScore certification recognizes and promotes technologically advanced smart buildings globally.
The global standard for smart buildings, SmartScore certification helps landlords and developers build cutting-edge smart buildings that deliver exceptional user experiences, drive cost efficiency, meet high standards of sustainability, and are fully future-ready.

Why do we need smart buildings?
The WiredScore Smart Council, a group of leading landlords, occupiers, and advisors, was created and consulted throughout the development process. In addition, our set of criteria was refined with our Research Advisors, a group of technical experts ranging from solution providers to consultants and integrators.

How the scorecard works
We score the breadth and depth of the user stories implemented and assess the technology, processes, and procedures that support their implementation. This ensures the building is set up to meet the expectations of today’s occupiers and has been made future-ready to implement the user stories of tomorrow. The scorecard consists of two sections:
User Functionality:
Assessing the breadth and depth of Smart User Stories implemented.
Technological Foundation:
Assessing the in-building technology, processes, and procedures supporting the user stories.
