Our History
WiredScore’s history is one of global-firsts. As a business that champions cutting-edge technology, WiredScore provides the only two certifications that rate a building’s digital infrastructure, connectivity and technological capacity.
In 2013, WiredScore was founded in New York, with endorsement from Mayor Bloomberg, and support from leaders in real estate, technology and telecommunications.
An idea was born

Two years later, following such great success in the US, WiredScore won the Greater London Authority’s tender to be the official Mayor of London’s Digital Connectivity Rating Scheme, leading WiredScore to launch in the UK.
A truly global certification
Since our New York launch in 2013, WiredScore now certifies buildings across 36 countries globally. To date, over 800m square feet of space has been committed to WiredScore, improving in-building connectivity for over seven million people.
The secret to our success is simple: it all comes down to honest, hard work. WiredScore drives impact and generates results, but never forgets the people working at the heart of the operation. We’re in the business of buildings, but we’re a people-focused company, and that’s what makes us tick.
