2013
In 2013, WiredScore was founded in New York, with endorsement from Mayor Bloomberg, and support from leaders in real estate, technology and telecommunications.

An idea was born

The idea was born out of a response to tenants’ clear need for better connectivity. So WiredScore set out to improve New York’s technological infrastructure, and support entrepreneurs who were driving digital advances, creating jobs and advancing the economy.

2015
Two years later, following such great success in the US, WiredScore won the Greater London Authority’s tender to be the official Mayor of London’s Digital Connectivity Rating Scheme, leading WiredScore to launch in the UK.

A truly global certification

International demand for WiredScore’s all-encompassing rating system has since made global expansion a reality for WiredScore. We now operate all over the world, with offices and representatives across Europe, Canada and Australia, as well as the USA and the UK.

Since our New York launch back in 2013, WiredScore now certifies buildings across 12 countries around the world. To date, over 700m square feet of space has been committed to WiredScore, improving in-building connectivity for over seven million people.

The secret to our success is simple: it all comes down to honest, hard work. WiredScore drives impact and generates results, but never forgets the people working at the heart of the operation. We’re in the business of buildings, but we’re a people-focussed company, and that’s what makes us tick.
