What is a scorecard?

The scorecard refers to the criteria against which WiredScore assesses buildings to award them with a WiredScore certification.

How do I get access to training when you release scorecard updates?

Scorecards are updated annually to reflect the latest technological developments. As a WiredScore AP, you will get access to scorecard refresher training following each update, which is included in the price of your accreditation fee.

Why are there separate development and occupied specialties?

We use different scorecards to assess the quality and future-readiness of digital connectivity in developments and existing buildings. Each training program teaches you everything you need to know to understand the scorecards. It is necessary for our WiredScore APs to have undertaken training in the correct specialty before they can act as an accredited professional for a client.

Can I become qualified in both the occupied buildings and new developments specialties?

Yes. We encourage professionals who work with both occupied buildings and new developments to pursue both specialties. You will need the correct specialty training for each building certification before you can act as an AP. Read more about our pricing bundles for multiple specialties here.

Can I become both a WiredScore AP and a SmartScore AP?

Yes. Our SmartScore and WiredScore building certifications are designed to enhance each other, and therefore so do each of the AP programs. You will need the relevant training for each building certification before you can work as an AP on a project, so if your client wants to pursue both SmartScore and WiredScore certifications, you will need to complete both programs. Read more about SmartScore AP program here.

Are there any prerequisites for taking part in the WiredScore AP program?

There are no prerequisites for taking part in the program.

When will the WiredScore accreditations be available globally?
