CityLife, Milan - Generali

At CityLife in Milan, Generali is creating the next generation of workplaces. CityLife is a major mixed-use urban regeneration district in Milan, bringing together offices, homes, retail, public spaces and one of the city’s largest parks. CityWave, a new office development within the CityLife district, focuses on how places of work  need to perform today while remaining ready for what comes next. Designed by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group)  the development brings together flexible spaces, wellbeing and high-quality digital infrastructure, and is the first development in Milan to achieve WiredScore Platinum.

We spoke with Paolo Micucci, CEO of CityLife, and Marco Beccati, Technical Director at CityLife, about the thinking behind CityWave and how changing workplace expectations have influenced its design. Watch as they explore:
