With the WiredScore Platinum certification, occupiers can be confident that The Henderson has put in place outstanding internet and mobile connectivity measures, from diverse and resilient physical infrastructure, to the provision of multiple high speed providers, and assurance of good quality mobile coverage throughout the entire building.
The SmartScore Platinum certification provides occupiers with the assurance that they can expect a best-in-class user experience at The Henderson, including, but not limited to, seamless access to building services and facilities, high operational efficiency delivering cost and energy savings, access to ESG performance data, and improved productivity and wellbeing for employees.
Resilience – strong, reliable connectivity
The Henderson has put in place measures to ensure physical resilience of the building’s digital infrastructure, such as:
Improved resiliency of business critical services, mitigating the risk of connectivity downtime. This is achieved through the physical separation and diversity of telecommunications infrastructure throughout the whole building which includes diverse incoming services from different sides of the building, and diverse routes to the telecommunications room as well as throughout every floor of the building. This prevents connectivity disconnection or disruption from maintenance work on a street or pavement-level, excavations at the boundary of the building, construction, fire, flooding or even traffic accidents.
In addition, The Henderson has provided occupiers with reliable wired and wireless connectivity, bringing the following benefits to occupiers:
Increased internet service options available in the building, reducing both installation cost and set-up time for advanced technology implementation in the office. This includes full 5G coverage throughout the building, not only providing occupiers with high speed, high quality mobile service but also serving as an alternative internet service option. Additionally, this enables the connection of IoT devices without the need for expensive and time intensive network infrastructure set-up.
Reassurance that Wi-Fi connections will not be lost due to a singular network switch failure thanks to the Wi-Fi 6 dual zone, dual layer design which provides double reliability in both coverage and quality of service.

Sustainability – enabled by technology
The SmartScore framework validated The Henderson’s sustainable building design which meets occupiers’ ESG goals:
Access to building-wide services such as smart car park booking, ESG rewards, and carbon analytics, through an Integrated Tenant Engagement Analytics Platform (ITEAP). Occupiers can leverage this dashboard to track ESG performance v.s. goals, and to generate insights and actionable recommendations for reducing carbon emissions. The ITEAP solution combines the functionality of an occupier mobile app, occupier admin portal, management & operations dashboard and integration layer, all within one platform. Through this integrated platform, occupiers can access building-wide services and view data that is important for their ESG goals.
“My vision is to create a building like no other. Bringing together world-class architecture with our ambition to constantly innovate for people and for the future. To build an icon not just for Hong Kong, but also for the world.
Workplace for the future – meeting health and wellbeing needs
The Henderson’s SmartScore Platinum rating has shown Henderson Land Group’s commitment to ensuring that occupiers feel safe and comfortable at all times with advanced technologies in place:
Occupiers can adjust their work environment to suit their needs, maximising comfort and increasing wellbeing at work. Patented technology and IoT capabilities work together to optimise energy-saving features of the building.

Innovation – enhancing user experience
The Henderson has also been designed to include innovations that enhance user experience, including:
Occupiers can use a 3D visualization model to visualize renovation work and furniture deployment on site. Augmented Reality (AR) is used to conduct building system installation inspections during the construction and operation stages. This mobile application enables convenient and portable building inspections in the future.
Occupiers and building users can benefit from The Henderson’s WiredScore and SmartScore certifications through its exceptional in-building technology and smart features.
By leveraging the WiredScore and SmartScore certification frameworks in its design process, Henderson Land Group is able to prioritize best-in-class use cases, and in turn enables those outcomes for occupiers. These include technology-enabled use cases focused on sustainability, user experience and the future-proofing of the project.
