The future-ready smart building sits in the heart of Washington D.C. and will offer over 346,000 sq. ft. of commercial real estate when it’s completed in early 2024. By achieving SmartScore Gold, 17xM is a benchmark of smart technology, sustainability and wellbeing within an ever-competitive market.
Skanska’s design team were able to use the SmartScore framework to validate their smart building design and position 17xM to deliver an exceptional user experience. Their certification has also led to leasing success with 50% of the building being leased, including an anchor tenant, prior to breaking ground in November 2021.
