WiredScore partners with Lightyear to enhance its internet procurement service

WiredScore—the real estate industry’s leading certification company focused on assessing, certifying, and improving digital connectivity and smart technology in today’s offices and homes—today announced its partnership with Lightyear, the market leader in telecom procurement software.

The partnership will propel WiredScore Connect, a concierge service for commercial real estate owners and managers to assist office tenants with internet procurement, creating a more seamless move-in experience. WiredScore Connect also enables commercial real estate developers to purchase base-building internet services directly through WiredScore.

After a comprehensive RFP process that included several B2B telecommunications agents nationwide, WiredScore selected Lightyear for their unmatched product, which provides an excellent and efficient customer experience, and for their shared market perspective, which will enable the company to expand WiredScore Connect globally. WiredScore and Lightyear’s collaboration has already started serving tenants occupying buildings owned by KBS, SL Green, and others, providing them with accurate pricing for connectivity options when moving into a new office space. Customers who purchase internet through WiredScore Connect can expect a streamlined purchasing process as Lightyear automates all configuration, implementation, and post-installation issues—including follow-ups and renewals.

Lightyear saves its clients up to 75% of the time typically spent trying to acquire secure internet connectivity, and reduces their costs by 25%, on average. Lightyear currently has access to over 1,000 carriers worldwide for internet, WAN, colocation, as well as voice, and services thousands of enterprise users spanning the globe.
