Paloma Ridge advances efficiency and confirms tech-ready status by achieving WiredScore Silver.
We are pleased to feature Ascentris’ investment in improving technology and empowering tenants with quality digital infrastructure at Paloma Ridge. Since acquiring Paloma Ridge in late 2017, the existing office assets have seen an uptick in leasing activity and are now 100% leased. Along with engaging WiredScore, ownership is doubling down on efforts to promote tenants’ productivity and efficiency.
Ownership is fully committed to showcasing the buildings’ tech capabilities, which have achieved WiredScore Silver. Here’s a snapshot into how tenants are able to get online and stay online in their space:
- The power of choice – Tenants can choose from two high-speed fibre providers (AT&T and Spectrum) or bring in a new provider with ease, as the building’s infrastructure has spare capacity to add new providers.
- Direct-to-tenant service – Each floor is set up to enable providers to distribute directly to individual tenants (floor by floor) instead of offering building-wide service.
- Mitigated risk – Outages and potential damage are mitigated by equipment that is well cared for and secured, a backup generator and multiple points of entry.
Ascentris is planning to complete the Paloma Ridge campus with the development of a third 165,000 sq. ft. building adjacent to the current buildings and is seeking certifications from WiredScore and LEED to showcase the building’s smart, healthy, and sustainable design. Construction of the new building is expected to be complete in late 2019.
Ascentris has selected Stream Realty Partners who developed the original site to assist in development of the third building. Stream is also responsible for leasing and management of the Paloma Ridge project.
