Occupiers are increasingly favouring connectivity over location, according to Radius Data Exchange and WiredScore data.

Findings show how occupiers are likely to pay 5% more in rent for London office space with strong connectivity than for similar space without a guarantee of high digital performance.

Key insights:

  • Tenants pay 5% more in rent on average in London for a ‘digital building’
  • Higher presence of TMT (tech, media and telecoms) occupiers in digital buildings 30.2% versus non-digital buildings 14.1%
